Gangtok's favourite travellers' hostel
The young travellers' favorite spot, perched on a private hillside with views of the Kanchendzonga. We are situated on NH10, the city's main thoroughfare, which is 900 meters from MG Marg, the center of Gangtok. We provide cozy private rooms, shared dorm beds, excellent cuisine, beverages, and an abundance of enjoyable activities! We had the good fortune to welcome thousands of travellers over the course of more than three years, including riders, backpackers, friend and family groups, couples, female gangs, and student delegations from both India and other countries.

Bunk beds
For an affordable, tidy, and comfortable stay, our dorms are a perfect option. We offer two types of beds with upper and lower bunks: basic and premium. Both include ensuite bathrooms with hot showers. At the common area located directly outside the dorms, you will also have access to a number of amenities, such as a water dispenser with hot water, board games, a library, and a Smart TV with OTT channels.

Private doubles
We provide cozy private rooms for two people. With windows facing the majestic Kanchendzonga, the majority of our accommodations provide views of the mountains. Only one of our rooms has a view of the garden. A tea/coffee maker, a private shower with a geyser, and other upscale amenities are included in our private rooms.
Best for families and groups
Private family rooms
Select from our triple occupancy rooms or the five-person family suites with a mountain view. These are excellent for big or small families, as well as for social gatherings of friends who wish to have the extra privacy. With cozy double and single beds, a private bathroom with a geyser and hot shower, and tea and coffee makers, these rooms are roomy and bright.

Affordably priced meals, snacks, and beverages are served at our rooftop restaurant while you take in the mountain views. We strive to satisfy every palate with a variety of meals, including Chinese and Continental cuisine, as well as comfort food that feels like home. Our food is freshly made with organic ingredients that are acquired locally. As the only organic state in India, Sikkim is something we are proud to maintain.

Common spaces
You can engage in some very enjoyable activities at Zemu because we have a ton of open places, common areas, workspaces, game rooms, and entertainment areas. At our top-floor lounge, you can unwind while taking in the gorgeous views from the huge windows and your preferred music. Have a party with a group of fellow travelers. We also provide a well-stocked library.The lounge serves as your workspace if you are engaged in a "workation". For those wishing to remain and work from Zemu, we have long-stay packages available.
Warm Winters
Bonfire & BBQ
In the cooler months, take advantage of our outdoor bonfire where you can sit by the fire with friends and strangers and enjoy slow-cooked appetizers and beverages cooked over a wood fire. Grab your guitars and perform for us. Alternatively, put some music on the speakers and sing a song. The action begins in the winter, which is also the greatest time to visit us. This time of year, we frequently have live music performances as well as other art and music-related activities.
